Rialette Gous

Rialette is a highly skilled professional, having dual qualifications as an audiologist and speech-language therapist. She achieved her Master’s Degree in Communication Pathology from the University of Pretoria, holds a Hanen Certified SLP credential from Toronto, and possesses a Therapists Diploma from UNISA. Registered with the HPCSA and equipped with up-to-date clinical certificates, Rialette brings extensive expertise to her practice.

With nearly three decades of experience, Rialette initiated her practice in 1993 within her own home. While she exhibits a keen interest in hearing assessments and amplification, her true passion lies in providing swallowing therapy to orthodontic patients. Beyond her professional endeavours, Rialette finds joy in tending to her vegetable garden.

Marike Venter

Marike achieved her qualification as an audiologist in 2012. After completing her community service at Natalspruit Hospital in 2013, she became a part of the practice in January 2014. Her academic journey led her to earn a Master’s Degree (M. Communication Pathology) from the University of Pretoria in 2017, the same year she took on a formal director role within the practice. In pursuit of expanding her expertise, Marike successfully completed a certificate program in vestibular assessment and rehabilitation at UCT. Notably, Marike has also engaged in part-time lecturing at the University of Pretoria.

Her credentials include registration with the HPCSA and membership in SAAA, accompanied by her active engagement in continuous education initiatives. Marike’s professional intrigue gravitates toward vestibular assessments and Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy. To extend her care, she regularly commutes to Bela Bela to attend to patients.

Beyond her professional commitments, Marike’s life revolves around tending to her twin boys while away from the practice.
